End-of-Life
Death Doula
Support that is provided in a non-judgmental, non-medical holistic way to those nearing the end of life and to the friends and family of the elderly, dying, or recently dead. An end-of-life doula educates and empowers individuals to make decisions on their own care and wishes.
Empowerment and Dignity
Death Doulas enable family members to be prepared for death which leads to a sense of empowerment. The increase in death literacy gained from engaging with a death doula creates a resonant effect, where an openness to discussing death and sharing knowledge becomes important and seen as necessary.
End of Life Care
Being a grounding and supportive presence for individuals and their families during a deeply intense and emotional time. Guidance that brings comfort and advocacy to the dying, with knowledge and support to allow families to grieve, take breaks, let go, and quality time with and honoring loved ones. You do not have to be actively dying, services are offered at any stage of the end-of-life process and continue through death.
Inviting the death process into our lives can create new understandings that can effect how we live our daily lives. Schedule an appointment today to discuss how an End of Life Doula may help with your concerns and needs.
